SLES STEAM Lab is a student-centered instructional model that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics to deepen content understanding and foster Portrait of a Graduate attributes.

STEAM Projects:Design Process.png

For the first four weeks of STEAM Lab, we used the Engineering Design Process to execute quick 1-day challenges. We took on the role of architects and engineers to develop various structures using fun materials.

We combined materials like index cards, Keva blocks, dry spaghetti, masking tape, marshmallows, and newspaper to create tall and stable structures. Check out the challenges below to see what your Stratford Dolphin did in STEAM Lab the past month...

Be sure to visit the STEAM section of our website for monthly updates on projects!
