Our very own Ms. Monica was recently recognized as the recipient of the Rising Star Award by the Virginia Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).  This award recognizes a CEC member teacher who is in the first five years of their special education career who has shown exceptional potential for leadership in teaching, service, and/or scholarship. We are so lucky to have her as an incredible member of our staff!
