Stratford Landing creates and promotes a culture of inclusiveness throughout our school. At SLES, a supportive environment is provided to every student. We work to make sure our diverse group of learners have every possible opportunity to learn to the best of their ability. Ways SLES have used to foster inclusiveness is supporting the creation of a PTA group named the Inclusion + Advocacy group, creating a strategies lab to support all students, and encouraging collaboration among staff and parents to support students.

The Inclusion + Advocacy group’s mission includes a focus of supporting and promoting an inclusion-advocate culture at SLES with all staff, families, and students. This week, the Inclusion + Advocacy group started a bulletin board that invites students to participate in creating a beautiful display. Students are able to place a sticker on the board when they have made a new friend, shared a smile, or helped out at school. As each sticker is added, the board has become even more colorful. As students see their friends participate in adding to this board, they too have been encouraged to stop by and add a sticker when they are able to. Thank you Stratford Landing dolphins for making this a successful Inclusive Schools Week!
