Student Technology
Technology
- Students at Stratford Landing participate in separate Technology classes weekly. Technology can develop and sustain unique learning opportunities in schools. This year students are learning many different programs and tools to be able to use them effectively in their classroom. Students also follow the Common Sense media and digital citizenship lessons.
- Students learn computational thinking, problem-solving, communicating, and other Portrait of a Graduate (POG) skills. Computational thinking is a problem-solving process that includes characteristics such as logically ordering and analyzing data, creating solutions using a series of ordered steps (or algorithms), and dispositions, such as the ability to confidently deal with complex and open-ended problems.
