Stratford Landing Elementary has adopted the Dr. Recess program to help students enjoy recess and interact in a playful, respectful way.

The Rock N Run fundraiser, Stratford Landing's biggest fundraiser, was coordinated by the PTA. After learning about the Rock N Run fundraiser, students spoke with family and neighbors about raising money to help support curriculum purchases, musical instruments, technology instruments and more for their school. In celebration, students enjoyed walking or running during the Rock N Run on October 19th.

On October 10th, Stratford Landing students participated in the international walk to school day. Some students chose to walk with their parents or friends. We also had some students who decided to bike to school. All the students and families were greeted by staff and a local police officer as they arrived for school.

Congratulations to Fifth Grade Teacher Jacque Wagner, Second Grade Teacher Amber Gardner, and Public Health Training Assistant Kristine Gunther who were recognized at the 2018 FCPS Honors Ceremony!
